In 2014, a cover of "I Don't Dance" and 60,000 video shares changed 21 year old Kane Brown's life forever.
Growing up, Kane was raised poor and by a hardworking single mother, moving around from Rossville, GA to Fort Oglethorpe, Lafayette, GA and finally settling in Red Bank, TN. Kane has been surrounded by Country music his whole life.
Until 11th grade, Kane planned to take the R&B route, but winning a talent show singing Chris Young's "Gettin' You Home Tonight" took him in the direction of Country. After that performance, Kane started posting covers of himself showcasing songs by Brantley Gilbert, Billy Currington, Alan Jackson and other amazing artists, gaining more and more fans as he went.
Kane released his debut EP, "Closer" on June 2nd, 2015 featuring his previously released single "Don't Go City On Me." Get your copy here: http://smarturl.it/KBCloser
Shreveport, LA seemed to be the perfect back-drop for artist/writer, Jordan Davis, to grow up. "Shreveport is just big enough for me to understand what city life was like and small enough to understand that lifestyle." Davis, like most boys, grew up playing sports, excelling in football and baseball in high school, "I got offers to play baseball from several different universities, but I didn't want to do that. I knew that I wanted to write and play music," says Davis. After graduating from Louisiana State University, Davis' passion and love for music is what made him move to Nashville.
When you hear Jordan Davis sing, you instantly know that he made the right decision. "I grew up with an iPod, it had everything from John Prine to Jay-Z to George Straight to Kings Of Leon." Listening to Jordan's music, you know that all of those influences in his life help shape his style. In just a few short years, Jordan Davis is becoming a commonly heard name around Nashville's Music Row. Jordan is already gaining attention from major labels, booking agents, and management companies.
Moving from state to state as a child, Aileeah Colgan discovered early that her roots weren't planted in any one particular place, but in music. As the daughter of a carpenter and preacher, and her mother, a former gospel singer, she found her voice through the music her family would sing together while traveling from church to church. Living throughout the South and Midwest United States, she was inspired by the different genres popular in each region. A passionate songwriter, she loves to create relatable and vivid stories with her music. Aileeah's view of music is that it's not only catchy tunes or enjoyable beats, but it can be a time capsule to your life, lyrics can hold memories and take you back to a moment in time. A fan of all styles of music, she eventually discovered her true sound was in country. Channeling country music's greats; Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Reba McEntire, Johnny & June Carter Cash, she hopes her music can be the helping hand to encourage someone through a trial or just sassy lyrics to give you a smile.
