Washington, D.C. soul/pop artist Eric Scott has enjoyed a varied and interesting musical journey. As a bassist, vocalist, and singer/songwriter, he has performed throughout Europe, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the United States. He’s shared the stage with Aaron Neville, Mavis Staples, Ray Charles, Southside Johnny, BB King, Sophie B. Hawkins, Jeffrey Gaines, Little Feat, Foreigner, Keb’ Mo’, Jimmy
Buffett, and many others. Recent collaborations include the MusiCorps Band with Roger Waters, Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, G.E. Smith, and Jake Clemons, and former Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden at Abbey Roads Studio in London. In October 2015, he also opened for legendary rock group REO Speedwagon at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC.
His original songs have appeared on ABC-TV, Showtime, Starz Network, Cinemax, and the WB. His song “I’m Into You” appeared in the TV shows “Cougartown” and “Homeland”, and his song “My Heart Belongs To You” appeared in major motion pictures “Table For Three” with Brandon Routh and Sophia Bush, and “The Frozen Ground” with Nicolas Cage and John Cusack. He has also lent his singing voice to ad campaigns for HGTV, DC Lottery, and Nat Geo, including the popular shows “The Incredible Dr. Pol” and “The Dog Whisperer” that aired worldwide.
The journey continues with Scott's fourth album, Where The Water Runs Deepest, released on his Itzall Goode Music label. With its stripped down production and acoustic arrangements, Deepest further explores his neo-soul, folk, and pop influences, with his soulful and gospel-influenced voice front and center. The record received airplay in the US and Europe, and Dutch magazine Strutterzine says..."with a
voice like his, he can do no wrong." His brutally honest and soul-baring songwriting style continues to evolve, and a brand new CD will be released in 2016 with producer Jim Ebert (Butch Walker, Meredith Brooks, Cowboy Mouth).
A native of New Jersey now making his home in Philadelphia, PA, Gregg Cagno’s latest CD Worth the Wait is on Black Potatoe Records. Together with Producer Jimmy Heffernan (longtime Nashville sideman for acts such as Joe Diffie & Brad Paisley) Cagno serves up his thoughtful, witty and melodic songs in a Folk/Rock/Americana/Country blend that features his smooth, mellow voice and open-tuned, bold & bassy guitar playing.
Cagno is a two time ASCAP award winner for the folk genre, was a finalist in the Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk competition and has a song in the Smithsonian Folkways archives. He's had the opportunity to open for folk/rock stars Pete Seeger, James Taylor, America & Poco and also the honor of playing on The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' Millenium Stage.
Charlotte Berg began her music career in Melbourne, Australia, where she wrote, recorded and performed her first songs in local pubs and bars, quickly gaining a following. She was classically trained on piano from the age of eight. In 2014, she moved to Nashville to further her career. After less than a year in Nashville, she had written and recorded her first official album, "It's the Damsel Who Decides." She has just released a music video https://youtu.be/oUxrHBVYC3o, for "Her Heart or Mine", and is currently preparing for a second North-East U.S. tour. She is also booked to play festivals in Sweden and the U.K. this summer.
