Originally from Montana, Lucy has since performed in cities across the country. She has built an impressive collection of songs reflecting her experiences along the way. (Some of these experiences include teaching kids music classes in south central Los Angeles, playing experimental cello with ensembles in Minneapolis, traveling alone to Nicaragua, and playing for a time in an all girl punk rock band.) Her live performance experience includes top Los Angeles venues: Hotel Cafe, The Troubadour, Spaceland and The Echo. Venues she’s played while on tour include The Slaughtered Lamb (London, UK) and The Living Room (NYC).

She has released one full length album, Flag, in early 2009. The track “Speed” is spotlighted in the feature film NIGHTFUR along with artists, Band of Horses, The Parson Red Heads and more.

With an independent EP release Red Handed in summer 2010, Langlas received airplay on Los Angeles’s KCRW 89.9FM.

A new EP, Cherokee, will be released in 2012.
